This policy explains how URGENT PLUMBERS LONDON LTD (“Urgent Plumbers London”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you use this website, contact us or book our services. What we collect

• Booking and contact forms: your name, phone number, email address, address and postcode, preferred appointment time, and anything you tell us about the job.
• Phone, WhatsApp and email: the details you give us, plus any photos or videos you send of the problem.
• Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and to keep the site running.

How and why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out the work, and send your booking confirmation. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of that contract.
• To keep records of work, invoices and gas safety information. Lawful basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interests.
• To keep this website secure and working. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.

We do not sell your data, and we don’t use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

• Email delivery: form submissions are sent to us and confirmations to you through our email provider (Resend).
• Website hosting: our hosting provider processes technical data to serve the website.
• WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
• Google Maps: only if you choose to load a map on our site. See our cookie notice.
• Authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that don’t lead to work for up to 12 months. Records of work carried out, including invoices and gas safety records, are kept for as long as the law and our insurers require, usually six years.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be transferred. Email info@urgentplumberslondon.co.uk. We’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Reviews

The customer reviews on this site are published by their authors on Google. We display their name, rating and review text as they appear on our Google Business Profile.

Children

Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
